How to rearrange, move, copy, or delete Pinterest Pins

A subscriber has asked me how to rearrange, move, copy, or delete Pinterest Pins. If you haven’t come across this by now, please read more to find out how to do this below…….

This is a great question and it’s reminded me that I need to look through my Boards and get them more organised.

Let’s Eat and Drink

One Board I need to address is my ‘Let’s Eat and Drink’. I’ve got 4,800 Pins on this and it covers a whole host of different courses, meals, drinks, and recipes. It’s a Board I need to break down into new separate ones to make it easier for me to find the Pins I’m looking for.

Some time ago this would have been quite a chore, however now, it’s a lot easier to rearrange, move, copy, or delete Pinterest Pins. You can even move them in bulk, which saves a huge amount of time, as previously you could only move one Pin at a time.

Step 3

Boxes with a little white checkmark will appear in the top right-hand corner of the Pins. Click on the Pins that you would like move, copy, or delete. The Box will turn red.

Step 4

If you want to move the Pin to a new Board, click on Move and a box will appear inviting you to select a new Board to move the Pin to, or you can create a new Board.

Step 5

Click on the red rectangle Move button.

Step 6

The Pins you selected will then be moved to the new Board. You can select up to 50 Pins to move at one time.

Naturally, if you want to copy the Pins rather than move them to a new Board you will click on ‘Copy’ and if you wish to ‘Delete’, you click on ‘Delete’.

However, be very careful if you decide to delete Pins as once they are deleted that’s it they’re gone.  If they have had a few ‘Saves’ all of this data will be lost too.

As you can, see, it’s really simple to rearrange, move, copy or delete Pins so that you can organise your Boards more efficiently.
